Naturist Rochester
Naturist Rochester is affiliated with The Naturist Society (TNS) and the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR).
We coordinate nudist activities in Western New York.
Naturist Rochester is a family friendly group; children are always welcome.
We do not discriminate against individuals because of gender, race, marital status or sexual preference. We do, however, expect appropriate behavior at all times.
In cool weather, we schedule a variety of activities including open houses at 237 Vassar St., parties at member's houses and/or monthly "Swim & Gym" nights at the Harro East.
In warm weather, Rochester Naturists regularly use the beaches and campgrounds of Western New York and nearby areas.
During the beginning of August each year; Naturist Rochester, in cooperation with Empire Haven Nudist Park, sponsors the Northeast Naturist Festival. This gathering of Naturists features a variety of personal growth workshops, nude sporting events, a field trip to Potter's Falls- a local skinny dipping spot, plus fine food and a meeting of friends both new and old.
We are also a politically conscious organization, having been active in the fight to allow public breast feeding in New York and the struggle for women to enjoy equal rights with men to be top-free on beaches, in parks and other appropriate locations as weather conditions permit. Through our affiliation with NAC (the Naturist Action Committee) we support the right of citizens to participate in clothing optional activities in a wholesome, non offensive manner.
